The Workforce Services Portal is available at https://hcie.nasa.gov. On the HCIE Home Page you can access human capital information without logging on! You can select your center under the Go to Your Center or Agency Office of Human Capital section of the page. For NASA Headquarters select HQ Human Capital from the drop down selection list and click on GO.
To log on to the HCIE Workforce Services Portal, enter your NAMS User ID and Password and select Log In. If you do not have a NAMS User ID and Password, click the First Time User? link and follow the instructions displayed. If you have forgotten your NAMS User ID or Password, click the Forgot UserID (AUID) or Password? link.

Management Division
As Director of Headquarters Human Resources Management Division, I lead a team of employees whom you will be in contact with throughout your career at Headquarters. This team of Human Resources Specialists and Human Resources Assistants provides a variety of functional services. The Headquarters Human Resources Management Division is comprised of three branches: Operations Branch, Management and Programs Branch, and the Employee and Organizational Excellence Branch.
The Operations Branch has two teams. These teams are responsible for providing executive services, position classification, staffing and recruitment, benefits, and, payroll services for all Headquarters employees and managers.
The Management and Programs Branch has two teams. These teams are responsible for conducting workforce analysis and succession planning, managing the Headquarters total on-board count, managing the Headquarters implementation of various NASA e-gov initiatives such as the Human Capital Information Environment (HCIE), providing special data reports and metrics, and ensuring that all human resources actions are entered into an electronic data system whereby these actions are tracked and monitored to finalization.
The Employees and Organizational Excellence Branch provides learning and developmental opportunities that address employee and organizational learning needs for Headquarters employees. The staff is responsible for providing cutting-edge learning solutions to employees through a continuum of learning opportunities through customized organizational development services, consultation, career counseling, development plans, executive coaching, and leadership and supervisory training.
