The Office of Human Capital Management, the Integrated Enterprise Management Program, the NASA Shared Services Center, and the Headquarters Human Resource Management Division are proud to announce that Headquarters employees now have access to the Human Capital Information Environment (HCIE) Workforce Services Portal.
The Workforce Services Portal centralizes all of your Human Capital information and systems on one website, providing a single point of access for policies, benefits, retirement information, and much more.
The Workforce Services Portal is available at https://hcie.nasa.gov. First time users should click the “First Time User?” link under the log-in fields to obtain their username and password.

Management Division
As Director of Headquarters Human Resources Management Division, I lead a team of employees whom you will be in contact with throughout your career at Headquarters. This team of Human Resources Specialists and Human Resources Assistants provides a variety of functional services. The Headquarters Human Resources Management Division is structured into two Branches, the Operations Branch and the Management and Programs Branch.
The Operations Branch has three teams. These teams are responsible for providing executive services, position classification, staffing and recruitment, benefits, retirement counseling, payroll services, fare subsidy/transit subsidy benefits, and managing the Headquarters employee wellness programs for all Headquarters employees and managers.
The Management and Programs Branch has two teams. These teams are responsible for providing management advisory services, managing the Headquarters total on-board count, managing the Headquarters implementation of various NASA e-gov initiatives such as the Competency Management System (CMS) and the Workforce Integrated Management System (WIMS), providing special data reports and metrics, and ensuring that all human resources actions are entered into an electronic data system whereby these actions are tracked and monitored to finalization.
