Influenza Campaign

2007-2008 SEASONAL FLU SHOTS

Date: TBA
Time: TBA
Location: TBA

The NASA Headquarters Health Unit conducts an influenza campaign annually. The flu is a seasonally occurring respiratory illness that can be transmitted from person to person. The single best way to protect against influenza is to get a flu shot. October and November are the best months to get vaccinated, and it usually takes about 2 weeks after the shot for the body to develop immunity.

Flu shots will be available to Headquarters staff, civil service and contractors, on a first-come, first-serve basis, while supplies last. No appointment is necessary.
