      The first screen provides a brief introduction to the TMC and offers you an opportunity to Sign Up on-line.
       
      Click on the “Sign-Up Here” button located under “Member Login” and enter your Group ID: NASAHQ2007

      After you have completed your Personal Profile, the next screen you will see is the Application Notification. Click O.K. and respond to the questions on the Application Form.

  • Situational Mentoring

    What is Situational Mentoring?
    A situational mentor can be the perfect enhancement to a formal mentoring relationship and can also be the ideal solution for those who want mentoring without structure. Situational mentors are the right help at the right time and are usually available to help solve a quick problem, uncover a hidden talent or learn a new skill or behavior. Situational mentors can lend their assistance for as little time as it takes to discuss an idea over coffee or as long as it takes to complete a long-term project. Sometimes, situational mentors can provide participants guidance and support that can last throughout their entire careers.

    Are you willing to mentor someone on an ad-hoc basis? Log onto www.mentoringconnection.com. Click Sign-Up Here below “New member login” and enter group ID “NASAHQ2007”. Complete the Profile and Application, indicating that you want to be a “situational mentor”. As a situational mentor, the Application you complete will be used to provide mentees with information about your background. If you are already a Mentor is the NASA Headquarters Multi-Dimensional Mentoring Program, log onto www.mentoringconnection.com “Already a member”, click Login Here. Pull up your profile, click “edit” (in the upper right hand corner) and click both “Formal Mentor” and “Situational Mentor” and save.

    1. Click www.mentoringconnection.com,
    2. On left side of page, click Login Here below “Already a member” *
    3. Enter the Situational User ID: LocatingHQ and Password: Mentors
    4. Click Login
    5. Click View Bios and scroll down to see your options.

    *Note: This site is also used for formal mentoring; buttons elsewhere on the home page are not related to Situational Mentoring.
