Welcome to the HQ Career Management Division!
We are blazing new pathways for achieving professional and
organizational excellence. Driven by the realities of our time, our
worklife mirrors the complexities of a workplace reshaped by continuous
change. For NASA employees, the journey can become quite challenging,
yet rewarding when one achieves personal success after navigating
unfamiliar avenues in search of professional fulfillment. For HQ
organizations, it can become even more complicated when considering the
pressures and priorities of internal and external change that require us
to do more with less, while continuing to build competencies and a high
performing workforce. How do we, as NASA employees and organizations,
bridge our separate but complementary ideals of worklife balance and
workplace? The HQ Career Management Division can help through its cadre
of services.
The HQ Career Management Division provides guidance, advice and
consultation in the area of career management. As a consulting and
counseling resource, we serve both NASA employees and organizations in
exploring new pathways for growth. The Division offers programs related
to career counseling, assistance with job search, worklife balance
counseling, and other activities including executive coaching,
mentoring, individual development planning, the Project Announcement
Visibility Effort (PAVE), career management/development, and support of
the new employee orientation website.
The Division also partners with the HQ Leadership and Organization
Consulting (LOC) Group. The LOC Group is an internal NASA Headquarters
consultancy that provides customized services to employees and
organizations in the areas of leadership, supervisory development,
organization development, and planning for off-site retreats, meetings,
and conferences. Services are tailored to meet the needs of employees,
leaders, supervisors, teams, and organizations within the Directorates
and Institutional Offices at Headquarters. The LOC Group is unique in
that it consists of a cadre of experienced internal consultants, who are
familiar with the NASA culture and environment.
Thank you for visiting our website. If you have any questions regarding
