MANAGEMENT AND SUPPORT

EMD's Management and Support Team establishes strategic direction, tactical plans and contracting mechanisms for Division operations. The team oversees budget formulation and execution of the Environmental Compliance and Restoration budget, the Division’s Corporate Management and Operations (CMAO), travel and training budgets, and advises the Associate Administrator on the adequacy of Center CMAO budgets and staffing levels for environmental and energy management. It is the focal point for identifying institutional risks to mission and developing mitigation plans for risks tracked by NASA.

The team also coordinates conferences, panel meetings and workshops as well as recurring awareness events such as Earth Day and the NASA Blue Marble Awards.
